    I Want A ???? then never used

I'll start us off, Mrs SM nagged me for one of those step/thigh machines so i went on amazon and i always remember i was reading the review for the machine and someone had put "looks really great as an ornament in the corner of your living room a couple of weeks after purchase".

So i brought one, and guess what, couple of uses and then propped up the wall in the living room i finally gave it the mother in law after giving her the same warning, and guess what its now propped up the wall in her conservatory

Still it gives the little ladies something to dust

We've also had several high-end cross-trainers and exercise bikes. I refuse to buy them nowadays because I know they'll get used all of a dozen times then left to gather dust.

The others are remote controlled helicopter and plane, good for a handful of times then went up into the abyss in the roof.

Kitchen gadgets, like the breadmaker, rarely make it out lately either. It kills two birds making it by hand anyhow, if you knead it properly.

You too? The missus has a running machine in the garage, used about twice.

I've had 2 pairs of walky talkies for about 3 years cos they looked handy and never found a use for them. As it happens, yesterday was the first use when took some nephews for a walk.

It’s not just the Mrs’ that buy & forget:

how many computer / electronic based items have you chaps insisted you need, meticulously researched, brought, gushed over, would not put down for a week only for them to be forgotten, put down & lost in the depths of your study / shed / man cave?

Well if I had more time at home I'd lock myself in the spare room and play with said toys!

Btw, how many pairs of shoes have you got/need?
