    Jeff

Why should there be limits in economic expansion - just look at the Universe - its been expanding for around 14 billion years - and dont forget that a World War does create a huge opporunity for many industries - yes expect WW3 any time soon- we'll all be better off in the long run.

Thatcher claimed there was no such thing as a free lunch - but she was wrong - you see the Uinverse itself is the ultimate free lunch.

Seems to me we've done nothing BUT look for people to blame.

I don't think the universe is infinite either. It's just much more finite.

Pray do tell the difference between finite and much more finite.

It's the same, but more so. You wouldn't understand.

I'm not so sure the universe is finite, perhaps not in size but possibly in time as it dies a heat death but remains forever as a collection of cold, dark cinders.

                    .
The majority of the Western world was responsible for the "catastrophe".
Hubris, not a little racism, a sense of entitlement, poor leadership, brainless consumerism, an inability to see change coming are all factors.
