    Occupy the Lake District

I am going to set up a tent next summer, in Keswick as a protest to the capitalist system that makes me work for my money.
Then I plan to march on Skiddaw, or Catbells if I have a hangover

    yeah, Catbells.

I will bring the system crashing down. oh yes.

provided the camping and caravaning club will have me

      My favourite knots:
      • Bowline, Bowline on a bight, double bowline : Handy, easy to undo loop, multi-purpose. "King of knots"
      • Figure of eight, packers tie : Climbers knot, multi-purpose. Can be a bitch to undo
      • Taut line hitch : Campers knot, for making, err, taut lines
      • Clove hitch, Constrictor hitch : Scout's knot
      • Alpine butterfly : Climbers knot (makes a loop in a rope)
      • Truckers hitch : Good for making guitar sounds, it's makes string that taut
      • Prusik: Survivalist's knot. Climb up a rope
      • Sheet bend, double sheet bend : Easy to undo knot used to join string
      • Double Fisherman's Bend : Bastard to undo knot for joining string permanently
      • Reef knot : Housemaid's knot for wrapping parcels

I rented a holiday flat in Keswick at Easter and got up and down Skiddaw in 4 hours! I was kn*ckered
And on the eighth day God said, "Okay, Murphy, you're in charge!"

I was once up on the side of Skiddaw watching motorbike trials.

Keswick is nicer than St Pauls for a demo. Wetter though.

Lake District's a bit wet. If you make it the New Forest, I'm in.
