A seasonal milestone in Nottingham today, it's too cold for my mac, time to dig out my winter coat.

Temperatures plummeted to a jaw-dropping 8 degrees last night down here on the south coast.
Might have got colder after I went to bed mind you.

36 degrees in Leeds this morning according to the car...

Car does temp in Fahrenheit tho, if I change it to centigrade it changes the speedo to km/h and I can't cope with that...

Why are you in the office at 7:39, that's the middle of the night? Are you a farmer?

Pretty average for the time of year though, unlike the last few years. Great day yesterday. Anyone see last night's "Will it snow" programme, where the MET office said they predicted last years' Siberian temperatures. Err, that's not how I saw it. Anyway, a chap there said they can't predict it this year, long term weather forecasting is left to amateurs whose forecasts read like horoscopes, i.e. can't be falsified.

                    it's a traffic-jam avoidance scheme.

There is a brilliant spin-off. I get to see lots of spectacular sun rises
