Are the more natural ones any better or should I go with a less traditional option of sticky toffee pudding, or hot fudge cake, or spotted dick?

Custard is vile. The only thing that makes me (I don't want to hear from people that say I haven't had the right one yet - I've tried quite a few)

Have something you like rather than go for Christmas pud (cos you have to). Having said that, a pud with plenty of nuts, fruit, booze and a bit less lard is lovely. With a bit of cream.
