What we need is a feck off big war.

No more youth. No more unemployment.

    Sorted.

Remove the minimum wage and remove the employment laws that make it impossible to sack poor teachers.

why is it Camerons fault that we have a load of lazy workshy theiveing chav scum as an underclass that has been nutured by labours desire to give lazy workshy theiving chav scum money to keep breeding?

I admit there are not a huge amount of jobs out there - however many of these choose to not bother getting out of bed.

It's about time we stopped blaming society and started to address the individuals.

My son is 18 he wanted to join the army and fight for queen and country in far off lands but they turned him down on a very minor medical issue, after 12 months off re-evaluations including seeing an army colonel they still would not let him in, in the 12 months he was waiting he completed a years IT course at the local college.

So after being turned down for the army he decided to do somthing more practical and signed up fro an electrical apprenticeship and i even go him a job with a company, unfortunately 9 months in he was laid off due to lack off work so he has been trawling the jobsites and even the college have been sending out liturature on his behalf so far he has applied to 30 companies (driving round dropping CVs on desks)with about 5 replies and 2 interviews the 2 interviews never materilised to anything due to them not having the work to justify the £100 a week wage for an apprentice,

So as he has not got a job he cannot continue on the apprenticeship scheme so he is out off work and off the course however he contacted some friends and has secured several days a week work fitting kitchens and he is now also looking into several electrical courses he has enquired about and is using the money made from the kitchen fitting to pay for them.

lazy workshy youth that he is

If this Milliband has a valid criticism of these policies that are being implemented by the coalition he has to provide more detail because, in my honest opinion, it is beginning to sound like a stuck record to talk about these cuts being repsonsible for all that ails society in the present day, including the problem of youth unemployment.

But if this man doesn't have a genuine valid criticism then everything we hear coming from his moth is just empty rhetoric and it all rings hollow to me. He does not have the makings of a great statesman. A great statesman would be able to add gravitas to this empty rhetoric.

Having said these two things I did not actually see the exchanges in the house of commond between Miliband and the coalition.

well I did try and make it clear not all of them are lazy worshy feckers but there is a percentage of the unemployed youth who are.

Also has you son applied for jobs at any retails outlets (and yes I mean McDonalds, Burger King etc what about PC world they always look for temp staff this time of year?)? or the local pub - glass collecting if no bar work??

Not saying that is his choice of career but this about people getting off their arses and working not about sitting around waiting for the perfect job to come along.

I do having said that wish you son the best of luck.

Cameron is having to deal with a legacy of no money, poor education and poor public services. For him to suddenly "whip up jobs" is a ridiculous expectation. We are now paying for our indulgence with socialism.

On an entirely different matter to support monkey may I suggest your son goes one step further - having seen his fathers spelling, I assume the grammar on his CV is correct- and delivers his CV directly to employers. If he finds out at reception who the CV will go to and follow it up then he will get a job. I have recruited three people who have knocked on our door looking for a job - and no before you all start, they are not Big Issue salesmen.

also I was once a recruimtment agent - dealing mainly with the blue collar workers - and the amount of time we lost contracts etc because people simply would not get of bed and go to work was amazing - and this was actually back in 1994-1998.

So it was a problem back then too....

The problem is Osborne is clueless, the last thing you do is have deep cuts during a recession, it halts growth and causes high unemployment. He thinks he is dealing with someone with a few high credit card balances, rather than a major economy. I do support a lot of the Tories policies but they screwed up badly here, I predict a double dip recession which will probably see the end of this government.
