    Software Development Lifecycle

Just checking that for a waterfall project :

It is Design, Build, Test, Deliver isn't it?

Not Design, Build, Quible about minor trivia on the design all day long so we miss our deadlines, never deliver in a month of Sundays?

Knock first as I might be balancing my chakras.

Current thinking on at our place is :

              Usual practice

              Design
              Offshore dev
              Offshore test
              Deliver
              Point finger
              Offshore Remediation
              Re deliver
              Point fingers
              Engage UK test resources
              On shore test
              Point lots of fingers
              On shore rework
              Retest
              Delivery

Usual sticking plaster is to call 1st delivery Phase I and then get it corrected for Phase II

You haven't sent any invoices, so by the end of this cycle you will be living under a bridge in a cardboard box drinking methylated spirit.
