    Black Mirror

Anybody else see the first of Charlie Brooker's three new dramas on C4 tonight? Very strange...

Strange is hardly the word. The leaden 'point' was hammered home with all the sophistication of a 6th form debate I thought, just a little CB trademark humour would have provided welcome lubrication.

If you see what I mean.
My subconscious is annoying. It's got a mind of its own.

Never heard of it, so had to Google.

The prime minister could save someone's life by having live televised sex with a pig? Who could possibly refuse such a mission of mercy?

Speaking of C4, did anyone watch Top Boy?

Very freaky indeed - but compulsive viewing.

A lot of people I know said it was fantastic, but frankly it was a ludicrous premise, with a mildly interesting "oh right" twist in the tail moment at the end.

Episode 2, "15 Million Merits" - I enjoyed it. It reminded me of Microsoft's Future Vision videos somehow

FWIW, Charlie Brooker insists he knew nothing of the news about David Cameron sticking his cock in a dead pig's mouth when he came up with the idea.

Just shows that truth can be merely as strange as fiction, on occasion
