All 911's stop depreciating at some point providing they're looked after so a good one should never drop bellow 10k, not a bad investment for an occasional play thing.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment

A £10K 911 through Europe in mid winter.
Certainly an "adventure".
If you are going to do it, buy a LHD one. Get more for your money and you'll be sitting on the right side of the car.Comment

Would perhaps spend up to 20K... Can get a 2003 Carrera or C4 for that money without too many miles. Only looking to keep it for a year or two for weekends or the odd blast through the continentDon't ask Beaker. He's just another muppet.Comment

Just over £20k gets you 911 Turbo with like 50k miles over nearly 10 years but it looks more or less like new 997 - better deal than brand new BMW 3 seriesComment
