I think the traveller community are done down you know. Watching this programme, looks like they are single handedly keeping the economy afloat the amount of tulip they buy

now that we're out of the EU can we stop them coming back over from Ireland in the new year?
Surely they're better off in those nice warm houses anyway?

I had a brainwave the other day.

There are hundreds of miles of East Anglian coastline eroding, sometimes by several feet a year. So, as all that land is blighted for permanent use, why not have elongated gypsy sites along otherwise abandoned fields next to the coast?

You wouldn't have to worry about evicting them - The sea would do that, or they could simply move their caravans a few feet back each year.

And with a bit of hard work they might even be able to contribute to coast preservation works, in their own interest.

              Brilliant.

Apart from the bit about allowing them to move back a few feet each year.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Yeah for some reason the programme doesn't go into where the money comes from...
