    Traditional Christmas dinner or?

I mentioned in another thread that I have goose at Christmas instead of turkey, all the rest is traditional fare as usual.

Anybody having something different or is turkey the norm?

I'll be working on Xmas as usual - probably have to settle for one of the left over pizzas left in supermarket

Not fussed on turkey, I always look forward to boxing day when we have ribeye beef.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

Chicken replacing turkey but otherwise bog-standard. Our non-standard tradition is Christmas Eve curry.

Be having liver with fava beans and a nice Chianti. Nom nom nom.

I've been asked for a Swiss Christmas dinner this year. I think it's going to be beef.

I'm going to take the precaution of having my fridge well stocked up though.

Pork roast for Boxing Day methinks.

I'll be at the in-laws so it will be a barbecue with cheap steaks and cheap & nasty sausages.

Oooo, nasty. Why not take some decent steaks and bangers with you as a 'contribution to the barbie'. Phone them in advance and announce your intention as a "thank you for their hospitality". Brownie points all round.
