    Britain heading for balmy Christmas as warmer weather arrives - Telegraph


    Britain will almost certainly not have a white Christmas this year as the cold snap gives way to near-record high temperatures.

    I didn't buy any sleds as it was obvious there wasn't going to be any snow. Personalised Xmas decorations now that's a different thing.

      It looks warm over Christmas - but that says nothing about Jan/Feb/Mar.

      I have read alot of newspaper letters saying things like "the aardvarks' webs are pointing north-east so it will be a very bad winter". Which proves nothing of course.
