Contractions started @ 2:45am :tantrum:

Now every 5 minutes or so, but it doesn't stop her pottering about in the kitchen.

On course for the home birth.

Anyone for a sweep on when the waters will go? I've got 12:30 lunchtime. To the nearest 30 mins please.

anyone would think that it’s my bloody time of the month & I needed to hit someone & all the lads in the office have gone for a site wander & MF seemed a good target as SU01 has other things to worry about & I have no bloody chocolate!!!

We are in fact at home already. SY02 wanted a home birth. The baba is posterior which is dragging things out.

Currently foogling posteriour labour, and waiting for the frakin midwife to come back :tantrum:

I would recommend going to the hospital. Posteriors are pretty long labours and the mom will be too exhausted by the time its time to push. Happened to my wife and eventually the doc had to use suciton. If the baby gets distressed they might even contemplate C section. For all that its better to be at the hospital.

Also, waters need not break. Sometimes its manually broken by the midwife.
