Bored with it now. Hasn't stopped for what seems like weeks.

12mm of rain fell at chez pondlife for the whole of yesterday. We've had 10mm already today.

In Cambridge it rained stair rods for half an hour, and the rest of the day was fine and sunny (although a bit breezy).

I've switched to waterproof clothes now, although they do still absorb a bit of moisture. It's quite nice walking in the rain with ski trousers, ski jacket with hood up and a gale blowing horizontal rain and being dryish and snug (or smug). Except for my feet as I don't have any waterproof trainers.

The forecast is for it to stop raining later today and for it not to be so windy and rainy in the short term. Rain clouds above currently but I can see blue in the distance for the first time in what seems like weeks.
