Dysfunctional family on benefits goes on holiday

    Dysfunctional family on benefits

A dysfunctional family on living off the tax payers and riddled with divorce couples avoids paying tax on expensive gifts after the taxpayers forked out for their holiday trip.

Do people still think the Royal family are a drain on tax payers? How many billions do you think they bring to the UK in tourism? The royal wedding gave London a boost of £610m last year alone, not bad for a £38m outlay for 2010 when compared to others

In which case those Londoners who benefited should pay.

Paris brings in £125,000,000 per year excluding Versailles Palace. Get rid of the monarchy, people will still visit Bucking Palace.

        Idiot.

The Royal family benefitting at the tax-payers' expense pales into insignificance compared to the fact that members of said family accepted gifts from, and thereby effectively validating, a repressive regime.

Then they can develop a business case and present it to Visit England as a funding application.

            I like the Royal Family.

I don't have a problem with paying for them.

But I don't paying out for the minor royals. The Wessex's are probably making their own way in the world (they have a history of not asking too many questions about things like this).

Wow, two neg reps from Paddy within a couple of hours. I must really have upset him.

Oh dear. How sad. Never mind.

Does that factor in the loss to the economy by having an extra day when people weren't at work?

The royal wedding was listed as one of George Osborne's reasons why he missed his economic growth forecast, so I assume not.

Not as if they weigh much though.
