Around £1500 worth of oil for CH last year. Nevermore.
Installed woodburner over the summer and have been burning wood since.
Free since I live in 'the sticks'.

£1800 a year down from £2160 the year before for Gas and Leccy.
Then add £2400 for council tax
            £300 for water
            £800 for house insurances etc
£1200 a year for phone, Internet , TV
and an extra £500 for British Gas cover and £80 for fridge cover and then the TV license!!!!!

                  Slightly off topic but...

Why do so many council owned houses have solar panels on their roofs? None of the surrounding privately houses have them??

Are tax payers getting good value?
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson
