    Why are they cutting prices? We are still in Jan. Are they not supposed to wait till spring to "spring" the surprise cut only to jack it up when winter arrives ?

    Mild winter so far, too much capacity, wholesale spot prices have fallen

    Not fallen as much as they have risen
    Threat of Monopoly referral
    seen to do be doing something

    As a shareholder I can only applaud this
    How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think

      They only seem to be cutting their standard prices anyway, most clued in people will be on the better tariffs that are available so they won't necessarily be affected.

        Forecast is for a super mild next few months. No point holding it off.
