    **termination with no notice** clauses**

Court case about to be heard on the above.

Termination Clause sticking point? 'in their "OPINION" the agency can terminate with no notice & no payment in lieu'

Opinion does not have to have grounds?
(their opinion can be grass is red?)

Solicitor on-board today (very late in the day!) after synopsis he rang defendants solicitors to negotiate - new solicitor for defendants - so both have between 2 & 4 wks to prepare - latest court listing will be around 6th Feb.

Need my 'i' & 't's crossed & the solicitor to work out the major argument?

(If this is not KC) You are going to lose money and the case.

Come back in 4 weeks to tell us how the case went.

You are going to get all sorts of reaction to that post from here. I'm sure we would be interested to see how the case comes out because it's a somewhat controversial one which will definitely divide opinion.

If you are not another one of the 9 lives of KC then before you get into a big discussion about the case, read the long thread here started by KC that our esteemed moderator Cojak alludes to. You should then decide if you want to enter into a discussion about the ins and outs of the case or if you would prefer to stick to the facts and not get drawn into a debate.

For what it's worth, I think it's a very interesting point of contract law and it would be interesting to see how the case turns out.

Welcome to the forum and good luck with your case.

Tiddles is a good name for a kitty cat. If you are for real, let us know the outcome.

I'm not really sure whether this is a question or a statement, but good luck with it. Looking forward to hearing how the case turns out in February.

Does anyone believe this isnt the original poster?

                A new case I think.

KittyCat isn't going to start another thread on this.

She may not win her case but she doesn't appear to be stupid.

I'm sure KC's original thread used stars like that in the subject didn't it?
