    Scottish independence and contracting opportunities

I'm wondering: how would Scottish independence affect the contract market?

Will there be a lot of work on the back of the change to a new currency and new tax and regulatory issues?

Will my day rate go up?

Will the Scots be regarded as non EU workers (until the questions are resolved or they join) and be required to comply with relevant regulation?
