India and US in joint moon mission

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/south_asia/4753951.stm

Now, do you think it is right than India, which has many people living in true poverty, focuses on moon missions instead of helping the plight of it's poor people? Or do you think they should invest the money they have in forward thinking projects like this?

Also, don't you think it's sad that Britain is so far behind the rest of the world when it comes to science, innovation, engineering and technology?

India is no match for GB when it comes to science and technology.

you could argue the same for Russia, USA & China.... but that would be a slippery slope to socialism

So how many space shuttles and moon missions are we planning then?

I guess that's why all the large R&D facilities are being built in India and China

Even HP Sauce is going abroad.

Perhaps India should return the favour now and pay for war in Iraq.

GB is letting Yanks do it for them.
Besides, how many of you will like to live like Indians and Chinese in their countries at the cost of building a space shuttle?

Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
