    Finally made the jump

    Hi everyone,
After thinking about contracting a few times but sticking with permie roles, I'm finally making the jump. Last permie role has been a bit of a disaster so redundancy looms and I'm sure even running my own ltd. will involve less redtape and BS than working for this particular consultancy.
I've decided to go straight for a ltd. as I'm in this for the long haul now and Mrs H. will be handling all the admin side of things. We're also planning a little SMB Microsoft consultancy on the side that she'll be running.
Not got any particular questions at the moment as I've been lurking and searching for a while. Not got a gig lined up yet but interviews next week and don't finish the permie role til next Friday.
I get the impression that things are quite now but should ramp up as we head towards April. I've not really specialised in one sector - done everything from banks to F1 to sneaky stuff - which I'm hoping will help me find the first contract.
I'm sure I'll be back with more questions soon.

    Andy

Survived my first day without being marched off site. So far so good, although some might say a public sector gig is an easy start

How fortunate for governments that the people they administer don't think
