    Nicotine inhalers

This has probably been discussed here before; but has anyone tried those synthetic nicotine inhaler thingies that look like cigarette holders?

Any recommendations? I'm looking for something not too fiddly to use, and easy to get reliable proper quality (not dodgy Chinese factory) refills and replacement parts.

The idea isn't to give up, but to carry on "smoking" (or in this case steaming) in a cheaper and cleaner manner.

I seem to recall that Suity has tried these. Perhaps he'll give a review?

Get a contract with lots of long distance flying and go cold turkey.

          Why should one?

Quitting is kind of a retarded idea for many. Smoking often becomes a emotional crutch for many and that must be substituted somehow else. Other methods are more deadly and costly.

Had a puff of one. Extremely pointless, unless you smoke because of a nicotine addiction?

I enjoy smoking and synthetic methods distract from the pleasure, so balls to that!

          Cleaner? Ohhh deary me!

However I am with you on cheaper. My suggestion is though, to build up a good network of non smoking friends and get them to bring you home a present when they go on holiday. Some places in asia, packs of cigs are ten times cheaper. Nothing more satisfying than picking up a pack for less than £1!

Nobody really 'enjoys' smoking. One enjoys the temporary endorphin rush that is basically a reaction to you poisoning your body.

What is needed is reconditioning and removing the need for an emotional crutch. Read the reviews, this is the best and easiest way to stop IMHO.

The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

**** that. Get Champix in. 8 days of smoking while stopping is great and then bang. One day you wake up (actually you won't sleep for 2 weeks but moving on) and you don't even want to smoke. Bloody real stuff. Sends you a bit loopy for a few weeks but works a treat!!!
