The little villages around Reims and Epernay where you can get very good champagne for miles cheaper than over here, some fairly decent cheeses and the memories of the first three nights of my honeymoon in Paris.

Actually, to be fair, my opinion of the french has gone up since I stayed in a gite in Normandy last summer.
I used to think the French were not fit to live with pigs, now I think they are

Filled large water carriers with wine whilst camping in France last year. When bottled up back home, around £1 per bottle for high quality red - sold a few too.

If you're in France this year I'd recommend a visit to a vineyard, just make sure the missus is driving.

I've always found the French people a pleasure, apart from Paris where they seem to be very obnoxious.
