Should tagged criminals be tracked by GPS?

Tagged criminals may be tracked by GPS satellite 24 hours a day - Telegraph

IMO it should not be compulsary. But for those who want the option rather than prison then fine.

WHS if you commit a crime and break the law and are not incarcerated then you should be tagged and tracked.

I just wonder if there are any GPS blind spots (or whatever they are called)? They would be great hiding spots for Criminals.

Yes, they should be tracked by GPS & if they are outside after a curfew or within so many metres of where they shouldn't be the tag should tazer them until they go home again. In fact, there should just be more tazering.

What a great home secretary you'd make.

One could go a step further and pop a pinch of semtex or CL-20 in the tag, to explode if they stray outside after curfew etc.

Sounds like a plan it reminds me of a film call the Condemned, on there they had collars around their neck filled with explosives
