Ended up on TV last night…..

I went to the offices of a place I volunteer for as they were wanting to celebrate a significant anniversary and to award long term volunteers like me.

I rocked on up expecting several people to be getting the same.

It was actually just three of us, received a cut glass trophy. Which was nice.

The surprise was that the local TV crew were also there, so I ended up on teatime local telly last night.

A rather random moment of life…….

I got a hell of a shock when I realised I had misunderstood the hotel room advertising "comes complete with own TV and CD"

ChildLine. Been doing it for around 8 years. Felt pretty proud to be honest as I was being awarded by Esther herself - Also the person getting the award next to me was taking his first call under my mentorship. It is just the tv aspect that floored me somewhat as that was not part of the deal!! Take a look at the Granada Reports website which has it online.
