As news of Wilslow's unexpected passing spread on Wednesday night,
posters and sockies flocked to CUK to pay their respects to the
'ingenious but pitiful' poster Wilmslow.
Permies and contractors from all industries gathered to express their
sadness at the news, praised the poster's unmatched tediousness and his
unending search for sympathy on the internet.
Others praised his dedication in amassing almost 2000 posts without
content.
Sockie mogul Sasguru said that he had approached Wilmslow to take part
as a judge in Sockie Factor 2012 but that the poster had declined due to
previous spin class commitments.
Teen poster Gricer Pacharan tweeted "He was my inspiration, my love and
my mentor. There will never be another Wilmslow. This makes me glum"
Wilmslow's close friend and manager Mr D. Agent was reportedly beside
himself with grief at the loss of earnings and was heard to sob "20%, he
let me keep 20%"
Wilmslow's private life was constantly reported in the CUK press, often
by himself. His pointless relationships with vulnerable women and
inappropriate comments were a constant source of CUK gossip.
Recently though, Wilmslow's life was in constant turmoil. Scandals
involving Mafia neighbours, troubled women and his addiction to
permiedom would form his inevitable downfall. Like so many before him
his fate was doomed.
Wilmslow followed in the path of some of the greatest of posters. Many
compared his style to that of the legendary El Duder who was taken from
us so young by a cruel Sprite addiction.
A light has been dimmed in the CUK community today and we extend our
condolences to all who have had to read his posts.
RIP Wilmslow. You will be missed until your next reincarnation.
