      A great post from the article comments :-

      By reading the complete coverage on this story in the US newspapers, I learned these families have a history between them that included past police reports. The dispute between them involved both Facebook and phone conversations. The accused was a cousin of one of those killed. The daughter of the accused had a history with police for these kinds of disputes. How in the world should this be a story about Facebook? The only reason is that the news media seized on the one element that might us read the story.
