    Pancakes

As I'm working away from home we had our pancakes last night.

    Did Crepes Suzette. De-bloody-liscious.

Missus didn't have hers as I found her spreadeagled on the floor of the bathroom after having drunk a crate of Stella. Been a ling time without a drink what with the pregnancy and things.

Top tip: Did you know you can freeze pancakes? If you have any left over, layer them on sheets of greaseproof paper and stuck them in the freezer.

You can then remove them as and when with a pallet knife. Don't know if this works but if it doesn't, don't blame me, blame Saturday Kitchen.

Anyway how do you all like your pancakes?

        Lemon and sugar.
        Suzette.

I also like the Breton style savoury gallettes made with buckwheat flour.

If you put fresh blueberries in the batter, they are even better.

Lemon and sugar - traditional is best.

With mince, chillis, fried onion and garlic. Savoury pancakes, lovely. No pancake day here but then no-one at work as they've all buggered off to carnival...

For English pancakes, I totally agree with you. Might throw a lime into the mix as well though.
