Why not? They have been good allies and customers, We "screwed them" on the F-35B and now their costs are inflating in trying to build modern aircraft carriers. So, Give them an aircraft carrier. USA is building new carriers. We need to put people to work. Build another, and Give it to the UK. Simple.
