    hi Pach,

yes you can have a rotisserie attachment with the weber 57cm charcoal grill

    that's what I've got

as I've said in the past though, if I were to start again, i'd buy this charcoal grill
    the weber 57 performer...

Weber Performer Gas/Charcoal Hybrid Barbecue - 1421004 - The Weber Performer cook on charcoal ignite with Gas

    because,

if you have the standard weber 57 on the tripod like me, when you put the rotisserie attachment
on, it gets a bit top heavy

so from the safety perspective you will be better with the performer

    here is the rotisserie attachment...

    Weber Charcoal Rotisserie (57cm only) | 8474

and then make sure to buy all accessories :-)

my next aquisition will be this thing...

Weber Gourmet BBQ Sear Grate Set

and once the Mrs gives sign off I want to get the smoker....

    Weber Smokey Mountain Cooker 57cm | 731001

but at the moment she'd against the smoker, can't think why

you'll need this book as well

the rotisserie on the charcoal grill is fantastic it takes barbecuing to a new dimension

    all the best

    Milan, my man! :

Yes, missus and I were liking the Performer at our local garden centre the other day.

Like the lid - nice opening / closing action.

Also like the Weber Q220 Black Line gas bbq.

Both in similar price range but couldn't see how you'd attach the rotisserie on the Performer.

Hopefully they'll be demoing all this on the IOW at the weekend.

Didn't the Top Gear guys make a V8 Barbeque?
      Or was that a blender?
Maybe both, I am quite sure I remember them having a V8 blender.

Is it really that bad with the rotisserie thingy on?

Otherwise you're paying an extra £250 for a job done perfectly well by a £10 firestarter.

            - Which you'd probably need anyway for the next set of coals in order to keep the beasty going long enough to cook a chicken, no?

Rotisserie is pointless, tbh, I used to roast chicken regularly in my old bbq and got a lovely even colour on it.

Have to agree about paying the extra dosh for an ignition, when you can buy one for a tenner that does the same job.

Nah, just plonked it on the grill, is all. Used the divider so it was on indirect heat.

Threw some herbs on the charcoal.
