    Cracking match in Sri Lanka

The lunchtime declaration set England 359 off only 64 overs, and they are making a good fist of it.

They need another 136 from 24 overs, with 7 wickets left. Prior and Fat Sami are at the crease, leading the chase.

A very exciting for cricket lovers!

Well, it's down to 47 runs needed off 7 overs, with Broad and Fat Sami at the crease. It's been a well-managed run chase so far. I'm on tenterhooks!

You forgot to mention that neither Strauss or Trott have batted and have dropped themselves down the order.
What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

Indeed, both got centuries in the first innings and are resting on their laurels to give the others a bat.

The hard work is done. 13 needed off 24 balls, Swann and Broad at the crease.

          Well that's that!

Dot, Four, Six, Four from Swann and it's victory, handshakes all round, and back to the pavilion for well-earned refreshment.

Isn't it a bit wrong to be playing cricket where such an abhorent regime murdered women and children

Genocide and cricket don't really go to together

Genocide and cricket go well together.

              Zimbabwe. South Africa. Pakistan.

              You know it makes sense.

Good to see some form from the batsman - apart from Bell. Good warm up for the 1st test on Monday. Why can’t they schedule games to get some weekend play?

Yes, Sri Lanka should refuse to play against us...

They are not 'going together', cricket is a game and doesn't include genocide.
