    Olympic kit.. no red?

Had a look at the story behind the Caption Comp thread and frankly it makes my blood boil.. The 2012 logo is crap, the welcome gear is crap and then a kit I don't recognise or relate to. WTF is going on??

Anyone else have thoughts on a kit that doesn't represent our flag?

I have some questions about the guy 2nd from the left.

Is tossing dwarves an olympic sport? And what are the chances of some olympic themed interracial midget clown porn?
While you're waiting, read the free novel we sent you. It's a Spanish story about a guy named 'Manual.'

What are on you on about? It's red, blue and white and has elements of the shape of the flag.

I'm not sure I like the 'long' versions but the athletics kit is quite nice. Apart from the long football socks

Am sorry, are you looking at a different picture? The Union flag element of the kit has no red. Having a red neck hardly relates the flag on the chest which is all blue.

It's the UK flag in blue for artistic effect - that's done all the time in marketing, still the same flag.
With significant amounts of red trim.

What did you want, everyone just wearing union jack costumes:

WGAS. Just be glad when the whole foul money-making exercise is over and they can knock it all down (or leave it to dereliction and decay more likely).

Anybody who thinks it has anything to do with either sport or national pride is a fool. Mind you, anybody who thinks either sport or national pride are important is also a fool.

You're in a chirpy mood today. When it comes down to it, nothing to do with recreation or fun is 'important'.

Unfortuantely I don't believe representing your country should have anything to do with marketing but obviously I am sadly deluded.

WTF next? An all white union flag with a sponsor logo across it like...
