I wonder if anyone has actually bothered to do a proper analysis of the impacts of spending your money abroad.

So for example £525m x 2 = £1.05 Billion

Spend it abroad. Total cost = £1.05 Billion + Cost of Welfare

Spend it home(more expensive bid, say £1.2 Billion)

Tax, Insurance & CT returns £400million. Total cost = £800million

You forget to factor in ministerial and civil service kick backs and directorship promises. A common mistake until we saw who got them from the last government and a lesson all too easily forgotten this (and subsequent) times around.

You only have to listen to Cable for 10 secs before realising he is talking bollocks, same with Grayling and IDS.

The only question that is relevant is "What's in it for them?" In truth, India should be sending aid to us not the other way around!
