Think of it as keeping pets. They serve no purpose and you have to clean up a lot after them. That's why we do it.
What happens in General, stays in General.
You know what they say about assumptions!

I assume its the plethora of sexual favours that we have to service the mods with.

What do you mean no one else does that?

RealityHack, you got some bloody explaining to do!

          c'mon guys

gets the site a better page rate for number of hits etc (i think)

therefore ad space is worth more.....

          probably

          It's all about the money!

and some of us do actually post some decent stuff in the 'serious' forums

But given that there are only two real people here and the rest are sockies, wouldn't it be better to get Skype and just have a regular conversation? My problem is that I just can't work out which one of you is the real other person

General makes the rest of the site look far more professional.

Their personal inadequacies mean that they crave a social circle that they can look up to. Admin keeps the mods for the same reason.

Don't put yourself down. Let us do it for you!

And the reason the mods tolerate us is page visits for advertising. Though it would be nice for to be able to donate something directly to the running of the site on a voluntary basis.
