    Classic April Fools

I think my all time favourite, although it was before my time, was the BBC Radio 4 spoof on the Italian spaghetti harvest.

I had a schoolteacher who took this a stage further and claimed that Spaghetti Junction in Birmingham was so called because spaghetti would be hung out to dry under its flyovers following the harvest.

The whole class fell for it. Except me of course lol

      It was BBC/TV Panorama

That was the first April Fool that I ever saw. It was on early evening TV, on a program like Nationwide or somesuch.

In years to come many will remember the classic carried by all the papers this morning - 'Torres scored a goal'.

Mrs BP convinced her sister she is pregnant. Impressive as she has had her tubes tied.
