I'm not one for conspiracies but the more I look at things the more I think that there has been a conscious decision by a small number of politicians, bankers and industrialists to destroy any concept of nationhood and replace it with a homogenised global setup in which we are all pawns to be exploited.

Ok, there's immigration - we all know about that but there are more subtle things at work too.

Take company names for instance - the changing of Norwich Union to Aviva along with no end of new companies whose name ends in A. Is it Just to sound trendy or to be nation agnostic?

I also see lots of ads for ostensibly British products but the places and the people in the ads could be anywhere. Is that so they can use the same ad in other countries to save money or is it part of the drip drip drip whose intention is to numb us into submission and accept the global society foisted upon us?

If humanity is to survive in the next 500 years, go beyond the earth, we must stand together not divided by old-age borders. You boss and your government are international human beings : their goodness depends on competitive international labour plus non-tax jurisdictions.

In other words if you push nationalism you are going to end up as North Korea. There is no going back from globalization .... accept it.

I would suggest worrying about those that charge you to do what you do and what they give you in return. There are invisble forces that govern normal people in the "developed" and "free" world. But many people are too busy with their Wiis, porn, movies and what not to see it
