This man can help, by getting you here.
I saw the ISS last night - there are web sites that tell you when it will be visible at your location and for how long. Last night it was only visible for a minute and looked much as a far off plane, i.e. bright in the sky and moving fairly rapidly. Covering perhaps 30 degrees of arc in that minute before fizzling out as it went in to Earth's shadow. -
Lets turn all the street lights off and encourage accidents and burglaries.
Personally if I wanted less light pollution I would move to the country.Comment

Half of the UK's population cannot see many stars because the night skies are still "saturated" with light pollution, campaigners have warned.Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave JohnsonComment
