just listening to some Duane.

Duane Eddy - 'Cannonball Rag' (1975) - YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R8w0B0QCLXg)

he still sounds good after all these years. I would never have predicted it
I thought ELP (Emerson Lake and Palmer) were Gods forever

so youse youngsters - have you ever heard of Duane Eddy ?

which of your favourites will still be around in 2050 ?

I was listening to him only last week.

Some of his guitar stuff is good, others a bit schmaltzy for my taste.

Just 73. Surprised he's actually that young.

My childhood hero "Eddy" was Eddie Van Halen; Duane was a bit before my time (although many of his tracks are on my iPod - Rebel-Rouser, Peter Gunn, etc.)
