              One that doesn't have any writeable shared folders accesible too.

              I had some virus try to land itself in the Dropbox directory of an XP system. Dropbox got deinstalled from that system sharpish.

                FWIW, Malwarebytes has been known to show false positives for at least one Exploit.Drop variant.

                I'm still digging around trying to find out more about it…

                  It seems Exploit.Drop variants can arrive via email and IM, in addition to compromised web sites. Sure you didn't get a bit too excited about the "pics" attached to that email from [email protected]?

                    I run Chrome and have MSE up-to-date and running real-time, but don't see any of these warnings. Now I'm worried that I should be seeing warnings!
