    Another one 'lying and fabricating'

Another tech recruiter ‘lying and fabricating’ – Milo Yiannopoulos – The Kernel

Seems to be getting a good selection of comments, both pro and anti-.
To be fair, there are probably candidates out there who stretch the truth on their cv too!
Speaking gibberish on internet talkboards since last Michaelmas. Plus here on Twitter

      Surely not:

Recruitment companies, with the exception of headhunters at the higher levels, are often grubby, ugly places, staffed by low-grade, barely skilled operators. Few firms act ethically and responsibly.

For some reason, the people who run these parasitic organisations continue to imagine they can get one over on companies and candidates who are savvier and better-connected than they are.
Brexit is having a wee in the middle of the room at a house party because nobody is talking to you, and then complaining about the smell.

Its amazing that some employers get upset with embellishing CV's I have never seen an honest job specification.
Always forgive your enemies; nothing annoys them so much.

The problem is, when companies don't have the nous to evaluate candidates, and overspecify things to compensate, then candidates in a bad economy are forced to turn their CVs into alphabet soup too. It's all smoke and mirrors. Of course, a dumb filter in the middle that places all the emphasis on keywords makes things ten times worse.

Senior Developer, must be sh!t hot, based in Manchester and be willing to get the job done, in return we'll pay you a decent salary.

            What more is needed?
