DAB Radio

I’m looking to purchase a D.A.B radio for the car so I can pick up ‘5 Live Sports Extra’ for the cricket commentary and ‘Absolute Radio’ which plays some decent music as opposed to the usual tulip.

Any advice welcome.

Blaupunkt, Kenwood and Clarion models are reckoned to be the best. You can buy simple add on DAB radios from about £30 if you already have good ICE.

Edit:

The system Britain has gone down the road of adopting is the inferior DAB, when the reat of Europe is adopting the much better DAB+.

So you might want to look into that.

Has current car radio got an aux in socket? I got a small personal dab radio and use a 3.5 cable to conenct to aux in. works ok.
