    Gordon Brown says we're f*cked!

It's official, Gordon Brown says we're Über Doomed.

This linky is from the metro, it's full of adverts so be warned.

The gyst of the article is...

Europe needs a global bail-out to avoid a lost decade of ‘unemployment and stagnation’, according to Gordon Brown.

Its leaders are deluded about the causes of their economic woes and the continent’s banks remain ‘poisoned by their high levels of debt’, the former prime minister said.

Leaders must use next month’s G20 meeting to create a ‘larger firewall’ to prevent the crisis from spreading across the globe, he added.

‘The spectre of unstoppable runs on banks will hang over everything until there is decisive action,’ he said.

His comments came as the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development warned the eurozone was close to ‘a severe recession’ which would have knock-on effects around the world.

Writing for Global Viewpoint, Mr Brown said the crisis in Europe was ‘on a par with the crash of 2008’ but leaders had ‘abdicated their responsibility’ and were failing to make concrete rescue plans.

Europe needed to encourage growth by opening up the Asian and South American markets, he added.

‘The unpalatable truth is that European countries can no longer rescue themselves without international support,’ Mr Brown said.
There you have it folks, we're f*cked!

Dispite my intense dislike for Brown, there is one thing he is good at and that is global finance. He's probably hit the nail on the head with this one so we are all f*cked.

Just glad my job is good at least until I retire

Wasn't Brown the man who was Chancellor (for many years), then PM in the build up and aftermath of 2008?

Isn't he one of the main reasons we're screwed? I think it's acutely funny the knob is telling us we're doomed, thanks to all of the policies he ******* integrated. He caused this, by letting the financial institutions run wild, call time on british manufacturing and bloating the state. Don't even start me on him selling all our gold at the lowest price for decades.

Brown, and his Labour cronies, destroyed this country and I personally loathe the one eye ****

Disagree. He is a twunt. I am relieved. I thought we were completely screwed. Now I think its all going to be okay.

Actually - this is the exception to the rule. In this case he is right. And its ALL his fault. what a twunt.

Absolutely. But it's as though it never happened under his watch. The way Milliband, Balls and him go on, it's as though 1995 through 2010 didn't actually happen. It really, truly makes me want to take up arms against politicians where you hear tulip like this.

Brown borrowed and wasted vast amounts of money on public services which have hardly improved. He is an obnoxious little socialist and should be hung like the rest of them.
