    Saddle Sores

Been cycling into work every day this week.

Think I may be in need of a rubber ring

    #2
Last Sat I cycled 115 miles in 8 hours 20 minutes. Mrs BP said my perineum was extremely sore afterwards.

But it gets easier the more you get out of the saddle and peddle harder! Also, you might need a more comfortable saddle?

But saddle sore is, IMO, not the worst thing about cycling. I hate the way my penis shrinks and its hard to go for a pee. Mrs BP saw me after I got hypothermia whilee cycling and keeps making really stupid comments.

I get saddle sores on my nose.

Doc says I have to stop hanging around the Barclays bike racks

But who was using the bike before that nice young filly you saw dismounting? It could have been me!

Is it chafing or pressure pain?

Pressure pain on the pelvic bones and perineum will ease as you get used to it. Check the bike is set up right for you and your saddle is properly aligned (Flat or very slight forward tilt) and get some proper padded shorts if you don't have them already.

If it's chafing get some Chamois Cream and apply liberally.

Saddle may be too high, I don't know.

At the moment my legs are totally straight at the bottom of each revolution.
