    Where else if not England?

Come on... suggestion please.... where can you have a decent balanced life if not in England (and not mentioning if you don't need to work and can live in a semi-retirement situation in a villa in the south of Spain).

    What suggestions?
Would give you my first 3:

    1) Switzerland
    2) Holland
    3) Germany

Would consider Scandinavia but it's way too cold in the winter for my taste.

But then, aren't those countries a bit too boring?

Suggestions, please. We know Englad is doomed anyway, so it's your problem too.
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

If you get bored in Scandinavia you're not doing it right...

Yeah, it does get a bit chilly, I've found a mountain bikes disk brakes and a drum of -25C antifreeze I wanted to wash them with frozen...
Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
threadeds website, and here's my blog.

If I had to choose the north, I'd go for Finland. Great people and culture (plus Helsinki is a very safe town to live).

Can subscribe to those countries. I would add Luxembourg, fantastic little place. Optically looks quiet, but tons of interesting things going on and close to Trier and Metz.

The country roads round the Hunsrück in Germany are basically f*** amazing, like being transported back to the 1960's, hardly anything on the road, and suitable for rallying. I actually looked forward to the commute back to Frankfurt. As I set off I'd reset my stopwatch to see just how fast I could get back. There were different routes. Best time 2 hrs 20 mins.
          I'm alright Jack

Yes quite Monkey I'd put Germany above Switzerland, fairly well above.

I'm biased as I have swiss blood though (and easy citizenship if I want one ). I'd be living in the northern part so I could hop over the border.

Germany's economy is pretty shabby from what I've heard though.

You are all soft tulipes and poofters. Inner City London is still the best in the world.
                    Hard Brexit now!
