Moobs. BBC News - Biker Jamie Roberts died after gate put across Taff Trail

At the end of the day, motorbikes shouldnt have been there, so it's his own bloody fault. The reaction? Well when assessing the future H&S of users, they should consider motorbikes... Not that they should enforce the access laws.
I didn't say it was your ******* fault, I said I was blaming you!

    WHS

Perhaps they should ban hikers just in case hitting a hiker risks injury to the illegal bikers?

The council had ordered a new five-bar gate but had not fitted it because of a lack of staff, the court heard.
So was it really impossible for the council to phone the farmer and suggest working together with him to put up the gate, thereby saving overworked and heavily strained local government operatives and providing the farmer with a suitable gate?

No Mich, stop being so bloody practical.

This is a scandal that won't go away.

          I like the councils thinking
with a five bar gate, we could have bagged five of them

Hang on, he put a bar across a path he knew motrocyclists were using with the express purpose of catching them. it was only one step up from using piano wire. Whether the motorcyclist was supposed to be there or not does not completely exonerate the wurzel, and the council are right that a real gate probably would have had a different outcome.

Good effort, but he actually put it up to keep his stock in. the same reason and place the council where going to install...

Does a single bar fence work to keep stock in a field?

It does if the livestock in the field are giraffes.
