would be great if you could easily daisy chain those things together to increase your computing power

Why not just buy a better computer?
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

        I preferred version 1!

There are cheaper, more efficient ways of doing that.

Because if you want 10 seperate computers most of the time but occassionally want some really serious grunt that wouldn't be suitable.

That's because Intel is actually doing cutting edge research and Pi is using obsolete technology on the cheap.

What it means is that Intel is able to invest a lot of money, hire smart people, even pay taxes - Pi would never generate jobs as a company, never pay serious taxes, never actually advance research because it takes free ride on the back of already paid R&D by previous users.

You really are a bitter and twisted little fat f*cker, aren't you?

If you don't want one, don't buy one.

I don't have the need for 10 computers....I barely find enough to occupy my laptop!

Last thing for research I bought was 64 core server - no time to test it but it sure as heck ain't your average Pi
