Wimbledon 2012 Prize Money & how it compares to the French & Australian Opens

Do any of my online friends find the women's tennis irritating?

Watched 5 minutes last night and it's basically non-stop screaming (broken only by random slow clapping by the crowd) and whilst all the 'upskirt' shots were welcome, I already have a vast array of music channels if I require soft porn (and I was in the middle of a fish dinner).

I was surprised to see also that the women get the same prize money as the men which is no different from me billing 5 days work and the lady billing 5 days for 3 days work.

    Any thoughts?

I find all tennis boring. In fact I find it so boring I can't be bothered ranting about how boring I find it.

        second that thought.
At least I get more reading done during the two weeks it is on.
At least it's better than golf though

I can’t fathom out what the big deal is that winner gets to jump over Annett.

Not much better than golf. But golf and tennis are marginally less boring than basketball imo. What's the point of that? A bloke who's about 7ft tall sticks his 4 ft arm out to stick a ball in a net that's 10 ft high. Dull.

At least women are only "on" for a maximum of 3 sets.

It would be more interesting if the women players and ball girls weren't dressed up like Eskimos!
