England climb two places in the Fifa world rankings to fourth place

    FIFA.com - The FIFA/Coca-Cola World Ranking - Ranking Table

So according to this we're better than Brazil, Italy, Portugal, Argentina, Holland etc

    Someone is having a laugh.

Maybe, but Holland lost all their games, Italy couldn't beat us, and we got as far and with better results than Portugal.

In the last world cup Brazil were knocked out by that dutch side, and Argentina lost even more heavily to Germany than England did.

We were undefeated in qualifying for euro 2012 and beat Spain before Christmas.

These things are what count in rankings.

I see Scotland are chasing up the table, just behind those powerful footballing nations of Panama, Gabon, Bhutan and Vatican City.
