Costa Concordia officials knew Black Box was faulty

Costa Concordia officials 'knew stricken liner had technical problems days before it crashed off Italian coast killing 32 people' | Mail Online

Have you booked your cruise yet?

Hmm, I think doing an unauthorised 'fly-by' of an easily visible large bit of land negates the argument the charts were out of date.

Similarly, normal emergency procedures require a declaration of emergency to take effect, the Captain delayed the declaration.

    Wail sensationalism.

Oh, and I'm heading off on a cruise on 20th of this month
