It's pretty time consuming for us managers to have to listen to developers cry/whine/blubber about your jobs being outsourced, how you can't get a woman to sleep with you (despite your perceived high income) and how the other contractor that came in before you "Isn't very good".
Write some f***ing code, make sure it's half decent and hand it over to your manager to allow it to move out of fantasy land and into the rest of the end to end process (when it will doubtless come back to you to be re-written, cause it's crap).
